[/quote] Well that may be true I do notice a difference in internet speed when my friends come over and bring their laptops while we play ps3 online. Idk I've always assumed, more computers using the same Internet, slower it gets for everyone.

[/quote] Wouldn't it only affect the internet speed if you were doing something on the internet ie. downloading, streaming videos, etc?

It's true if they're actively using it, but when a computer is on idle (not being used) it doesn't really use the internet to any noticable degree.
