im an american. anyways long story short: My dad got a new job in Toronto, Canada and i'm about to move sometime soon. I'm just wondering about life in canada and how to fit in, even though a few of my friends from canada say toronto is basically not even considered canda. suggestions please. also if you can, tell me what is extremely different between each country.

Toronto has a diverse population of 2 - 3m people. Now, if you come from a relatively large city, it should be no problem at all as all of North America, especially in urban areas, have the same trends and mind-processes. Moving to a city that's within a drive away from NYC... I'll let you think about that.

It's pretty much the same. Being Asian helps a lot, too.

whenever i go to the states, i only notice three things: 1) more diversity 2) more trends 3) more shopping like I'd see a group of 10 mexican emos, while in my school, there's probably not even 10 mexicans. not to be racial or anything, i just noticed a wider variety of people oh and we don't sue people in canada, excluding million dollar law suits. then the lawyers step in.

Assuming you live in Seattle or near the coast, expect it to be colder and snowier during the winter and a slightly hotter summer. If you've been to Seattle (Which you should have), expect it to be about 4 - 5 times bigger.
