Why do you basil

Simple question. Why do you use basilmarket/chat section. Me. I probably just use it as a social thing. Talk to a group of people when no one is on aim/myspace/facebook/phone. Or sometimes when I want to kill time.

[/quote] Yeah I was expecting an answer like this. Why make friends on basilmarket? I tried this once and after adding them on aim; I never talked to them again. And I really don't see a gain out of making friends on basilmarket besides the fact you just added 1 more friend to your buddy list.

It's also a way of saying, "I particularly like you/your posts". A form of flattery, I guess.

Uhmm well honestly i like the design of basilmarket much more as opposed to any other online forum ive used. Its a lot more active than any other ive used, and its just setup a lot nicer i think.

I like voicing an opinion in subjects that no one speaks of round here. Your stories also become stories I tell my friends, except I don't say I was on basilmarket.com the other day! I'll just be like my uhh friend! haha good times

I need deep answers. ex: I use basilmarket because before my father and mother passed away they made a thread saying how they loved me so much and how they wanted me to continue their legacy on basilmarket.

Common interest (maplestory, at one time or another) Common age for the most part (middle school -> college age kids) It's a place where everyone can be open and social and awesome :D I really like the community on this forum, I've met a ton of awesome people.
