How Maple Changed My Life.

Warning: Rant/Wall of TEXT! Wats up basil, I have had played maple for a good two years? And i've had so many good times leveling up, meeting new friends, but most importantly learning others attitude not just around me. Maple has somewhat helped me in math, determining prices and what not but also dealing with huge numbers ex. thousands/millions. I fully understand that there are going to be nice people in this world who like to do the right things and then those who choose to be nasty with others just for the fun of it since everyone knows that only they themselves can change, no one else can "make" them. Though there were a great deal of bad memories then good I continued to play ignoring all the ksers and ones who help ruin the game for others. Thats when I finnaly realized what a great waste of time MapleStory was. I was constantly on even though I put my homework first then Maple but it was still getting tedious having to do the same thing. Maplestory was just one big repetitive cycle, Level, meet new people, get hated on by others, ignoring them, and then back to leveling. My first character which is my avater as you can see, was level 31, thats when I moved to khaini, made a level 54 ice/lightning mage. My older brother who I detest very much had showed me MapleStory and had a level 80 Dk already In Scania. Thats when I got the idea to make an account In Scania to surpass his level. Unfortunetley It ended up as me being a level 80 Hermit and him a 120 Dark Knight. Even though He was the higher level, I felt as i was the victor since he had way more playing time then me and I was able to quit. (He eventually quit maplestory once he entered college). It was so stupid when I could have used that valuable time doing other things like working out or even back to studying since we all could always improve on our studys. I un-installed maple but I do go back to basil checking up the chat section since there are so many amusing threads. Its been a month since I played and I feel more amazing then I had ever felt, I have a really sweet girl friend and my birthdays coming up but we cant forget that summer is approaching? I feel as if nothing will ever go wrong. - I really hope that all you basilers out there will someday find the sudden urge to quit maplestory and live your life the way it was meant to be, not inside playing computer games when your just wasting your life away. Good Luck to everyone whos trying to quit and more luck to those who are still playing! (Btw I know I'm just some random person saying all of this but yes you are right, no one has to listen to any of this lmao).
