I found a pair of Air Jordans in the TRASH!

Today (5/16/10), I was walking my dog, Sandy, around the neighborhood. It was around 5 this evening and I was just about to go home, when Sandy started to bark at something. I tried to get her attention by calling her names, but it didn't work. So I looked over and saw that she was barking at a trash can. I thought maybe she had smelled something, like a dog bone, that I could give her, so I went and opened the lid. And there they were, a pair of some old Air Jordans. The 1985 Retro 1 Edition in MINT condition! I couldn't believe my eyes, as if it was a dream! Who would throw these out? These are legendary basketball shoes, and they're worth THOUSANDS in this condition! I live in a neighborhood with lots of old people, so maybe somebody was going through their closet and saw these and didn't want them. Once I found a pair dangling from some telephone wires! so I ran back home and stole my dad's ladder to try and get them, but the ladder wasn't tall enough. I had to put the ladder on top of a car and wear my mom's high heels. I knocked over one of those telephone poles and broke both arms, but at least I got the shoes !
