forever will be corsair even if their ship breaks, dpm is still high with the improved rapid fire.

DPM overall didn't change much in 90% of bossing situations.

I am not going to start a flame war, but I still say that NLS have the best dpm because they were always the strongest in boss fights and most widely excepted into bossing parties such as dragonoir. One NL level 140 was able to out damage a level 168 corsair, which may not prove true for all similar cases, but it was still pretty damn impressive.
