Br333s Comprehensive Acne/Breakout Guide: Exfoliate, cleans, moisturize From what I have seen, a lot of the basil community is at that age where they are having a few skin problems. However, even in college and throughout adulthood, you often see men and woman struggling with skin blemishes. So, I decided there would be no better way to give back to the basil community than to make a little guide to, hopefully, give you a few helpful hints I will be talking about Exfoliation, Cleansers and Brands, Moisturizers, Foods and Their Affects, Makeup, Exercise, Relaxation, Natural and Household Remedies, and Important Tips. Exfoliate- Exfoliation can help remove dead skin and help your skin heal and be cleansed easier. There are many exfoliates in almost every drug store. Always, make sure the exfoliating cleanser is designed just for your face! Otherwise, it may be too abrasive. Use warm water to exfoliate about once or twice a week, depending on your skin and the directions. There are some household products that you can use that I talk about later in the guide, under the Natural and Household Remedies section. Talk about Products & Skin Evaluation- Of course, a main solution to fighting blemishes is finding a good product that is supposed to help clear that skin of yours. The amount of skin products out there can frighten anyone looking for some help. Which one is best and which ones are a waste of time and money? Well, there are a few things that you have to know first. Skin type is big! Depending on if you have dry skin, oily skin, sensitive skin, etc then you will need to make game plan specifically for that type of skin. Someone with dry skin shouldnt be using the same product as someone with oily skin. Thats an obvious no brainer. Yet, some products dont want to tell you this in hopes that you have heard of them and will just pick up a container and give it a go. So, first we need to figure out your skin type. I think WebMD does a very nice job at this, and so I recommend you answer the quick questions and read the excerpt on skin care that is right for you. Take the quick quiz! Although it might be a little embarrassing standing in the isle with all the skin care, I recommend going through and reading the containers carefully. Read each one and check to see if its truly for you. Dont just grab the cheapest, most well known, or even the most expensive one. Take your time to see if the product says it will help you with the problems that you are having. One of the easiest tricks is Walmarts site! Yep, you heard it. They have a huge variety of cleansers. Click an item, and read the description. Then, when you get to the store, you will know exactly what you are looking for. Some of the products even have a couple of user reviews. Walmarts Selection of Skin Care Some skin care applications are very general. Most of the time, these are made for, well the general population. These products are made for the average person that is looking fo

Thanks. I had a friend post it like a month ago for me. I just wanted to post it again because I was the one who made the guide so maybe if anyone had questions, I might be able to answer them a little better than he could have.

pr3stig3Nice job. Looks like you put a lot of time and effort into this. Normally, all of your posts are pretty useless. However, this is quiet helpful. Kudos to you, sir.

Hey, a useful post. I'll take advantage of this moment and ask. How do you close the pores on your face? Mine are like always open and you can clearly see them thought they look like scars to some people.

There actually isn't a permanent solution for getting rid of open pores. Some people have larger pores than others naturally. However, if you practice using some of these steps to clean your face daily, some of the grease and dirt filling your pores would be removed and perhaps give a little bit of a tighter appearance to your skin. Plus, you should splash cold water on your face after you clean it. This closes pores, but only temporarily. Your best solution is to just make sure that you clean your face regularly. This should help.
