"Quit Playing Maple So Much, You Have No Life" I've heard this so many times from different people People who play more than I do People who play less than I do People who play the same amount as I do But i've been thinking, and I discovered that if I wasn't playing maple, I'd probably be watching tv or playing some other computer game. Or if I could arrange it, I'd go to one of my friends' houses and play video games or watch tv there. Or maybe i'd go watch a movie. Point is, all the things to do in a normal teenager's life could be argued to be something that someone with no life would do. We're just kids living in the 21st century, these are our activities, what else can we do? Vote or Share what you would do if you weren't playing maple.

Sorry for the pessimism, but in my opinion, all your alternatives are equally bad in comparison to maplestory. Although playing does not necessarily correlate to having a life or not, there are better things to do with your life.

I don't mind how much a person plays maple, whether it ranges from 10 minutes to 10 hours a day. I just hate the addicts who are in denial, like the people who say they can get to level 70 in a week without leeching or buying nx or playing for more than 2 hours a day >.> Also if you remotely have any self confidence at all, why do you care what other maplers think? Playing too much maplestory is bad I agree, but so is anything else you do in life. Too much of something/anything is always bad for you.

I have 'no life'. Yes, I said it. I play MapleStory at least 8hrs+. But that is mainly due to my real life circumstances. But hell, I can say that I enjoy every minute of it, and I'm happy to have made the friends that I will have many years from now If I wasn't playing maple, I would be finishing school in less than 3 weeks, or getting a job.

What is having a life though? It's different to so many people, some would argue that it's going to parties and having lots of friends, others would say it's doing extremely well in school, but I say, as long as you're enjoying your life, then you have one. Oh and the 4th option is win.

I say you have a life as long as you have a pulse, but that's just me.

if i didnt play maplestory. actually everythign would be the same. id work 6days aweek go home stay up til 4am doin sumthin random then sleeping allday every sunday. nm would change maybe a few dollars on the electric bill lol. i work too much for a real super social life. so i get out when i can wich is rare. so i enjoy what is here infront of me lol seeing as how i work nights and all my friends work days. honestly though, i love how it all turned out. great job, great game. i can still hang out with ppl. just not as often as most would assume u should to have a normal social life. but w/e tghats what fb is for f3. id have still gotten badish grades in school. i would still not have gone to college and still make 10buks an hour. sooo yeah. your not addicted to maplestory until u call off work or school to play the game.

You do what you want with your life, as long as your happy it shouldn't matter to anyone else and those that say you got no life, need to 'get a life' (yes contradiction here) because they're losing time telling someone to get a life when they need one.

I know exactly how you feel about this. I'm on the computer all day simply because I'm so bored with everything else. I have a bunch of friends in real life, I just have no cell phone, MySpace or FaceBook to get into contact with them (and I really don't care to since we wouldn't do much together ANYWAY). I love hanging out inside, playing video games, listening to music, watching TV and sleeping. I don't see why I have to "go outside" to "have a life". It makes absolutely no sense to me. I would most definitely go outside if there were actually something to do. I would go to the mall, but it's no fun with no money, plus, I've been to every mall around here hundreds of times; my friends and I would stay at them for HOURS, as in from 12pm to 8pm. I would go see a movie, but no one ever wants to see a movie and usually all the movies that are currently out suck. Also, why waste 15+ dollars on the movie and food when I can watch an unlimited amount of movies and eat for free in the comfort of my home? I would go somewhere and hangout with my friends, but that always gets boring within 2-3 hours. I'd skateboard, but I broke my deck in half a couple months ago. There's just nothing to do and I'm tired of everyone telling me to go outside and get a life. I have a life, it just happens to be INside.
