Should Maplestory have Player vs Player? (PvP)

I think MS SHOULD have PvP :D If Maplestory (GMS) did make a Player vs Player thing, which job do u think would own at it? :D

No because GMS does not have perfect timing. On your screen a warrior could be on the other side of the map But his screen he could be rhaping ur ass :P

HELL NO! If Nightlords/Bowmasters get hit ONCE they will die (assuming they aren't hp washed) Skills such as freeze/stun will be hax (o doom >:O Stuck as a snail forever) Etc etc. I think the Buccaneer might win. They dont have that good 1v1 dmg but they have decent range and the all important invciframes. Btw thats incredibly biased because I'm quitting my nw for a buccaneer =P

i think it shohuld have PvP, but if it does, then classes would probs be changed to be more similar or something like that.. maybe lesser kb? just slows you down. i dno, but i say no one class should pwn it

That poll seems unnecessary. Anywho.. It'll never happen unless there was a major nerf in some kind of dungeon that would be for pvp. But this is why it won't happen, each class is ultra overpowered and has it's advantages (regardless an hp extension in some certain area): some examples: shads: smoke screen buccs: iframes marksman: snipe bm: hurricane Mage: ultimate, seal, slow.

Maplestory already has PvP in the form of CPQ1 and CPQ2. Sorry you can't directly "pwn noobs" though, there are plenty of PvP games out there just waiting for you. Related: in PSs I played that did have some sort of PvP system Bowmasters were a popular choice for some reason.

The characters in this game are not designed for PvP. If PvP was introduced, 4th job mages would win... pretty much by default. They could teleport to avoid attacks and have screen-wide area crush moves. Just like trying to defend yourself against one of these pricks when they KS you, it's virtually impossible unless you're a 4th job mage yourself.

MapleStory is not even remotely balanced for PvP. You have to heavily adjust each and every skill's damage, effects, and range, and even then it would still be an unbalanced spam-fest with no skill or thought whatsoever. If you want a 2D game with PvP, try WonderKing; it's specifically designed with PvP in mind, and even then it's still not perfect. Otherwise, monster-hunting competitions like CPQ (which is still unbalanced) are the closest we'll ever get.
