general thoughts on bm?

So I think my last thread got deleted for wrong section.. sorry mods. And yeah, basically I had an sudden urge to make a BM. and since ive never made an archer, and dont have any archer friends, im wondering about them: Are BMs good overall? High damage? Wanted in Boss Runs? Fun to play? How expensive is funding? And from my previous thread, I learned that Archers go Low STR, or Reg STR. which one should I go? Thanks

Make a marksman. The damage is alright, wanted in boss runs for SE, very fun to play and cheap to fund.

[/quote] 1st job is boring, 2nd is hard and boring. bowmen only shine till 3rd job and onwards i'm a MM, but i know lots about BM's. i had two (1 in bera, other in a PS), i have a 111 ranger in bello, and i know lotsa BM's ingame. 1. yes 2. i'd say "stable" 3. ofc. both BM and MM are begged at for SE. 4. depends on you. idk what's your definition of fun. but for me, my ranger and MM (which are practically the same before 4th job) are "fun" to me 5. armor isn't too costly. weapons aren't too costly, compared to other classes (from my position as a MM, they are, lol), but they are a bit on the rare side (crossbows are even rarer tho )

xbows are least played class,and always cheepest for scrolls and gear if your shoping,both for mts or freemarket most ppl cant wait to get rid of there xbow "junk"

yes to all and people that say spamming hurricane gets boring uh? So does TT, Brandish and many other final repetitive attack skills!

^ People who refer to using their main attack as "spamming x all day" aren't using their class right. Only exception being 4th job mages past 100% 1hko level. Then there really is nothing else to your training. /offtopic
