stonetooth vs 1h sword

hey guys i have about 2.5b to spend on a new sword, and i am currently decinding between a stonetooth or a reverse executioners + shield. I have enough dex for the stonetooth, and i would have basically the same equips either way besides obviously the sword. For like 2.5b i know i could get a 130 stonetooth or so. my question is, what sword+ shield combination atk would be able to beat a 130 stonetooth in dmg per minute, and how much would a sword+ shield cost to do so.

Ok. Only Go Reverse and Sheild if u Are Dexless so u Would Have to Bring Down Your Dex to About 20 or less. Im Pretty Sure that a 15Att Sheild Makes up For the 1h to 2h Damage Difference. if Your Not Willing to Spend alot of Nx On Resets Go ST i would Suggest that you should go to Oblivion4 and Grind all Day and Get the PoTs or if u want buy them. And 30% the Whole Thing. i Landed 4/7 30% on a RK and it didnt Blow. ALSO S> 105Att Rk in Khaina. Tyvm :P

Based on cost of atk shield these days and considering that u will have that much dex either way, ST will probably give a greater damage range.

sword and sheild sword is fast and powerfull and sheild adds attack so at one point it beats the stontooth out this may be costy

depends through if the swords are equal attack or by far 10+ attack go with the shield since you have an addition attack on the shield while on the other hand you have a fast 2 hand attack

honestly, if you're looking pure damage, i'd say go ST, just due to the fact you have the dex for it anyways.... that plus the fact that ST is sexy XD R.Ex. wouldn't be a bad option either... get a Maple shield w/ atk or even a Panlid XD but in any case, i don't know the actual math for 1h+shiled to = or > 2h

Sword and shield is best for DPM, and bossing. BUT St's have better reach, but I would prefer 1h and shield if you have that funding.

Well both of them are the exact same speed, so that just leaves damage. This is a rough estimation, but if you have around 700 str and 120 dex, and say around 30 extra attack from non weapon/shield equips, if you got a 130 ST, you would need around a 154+ to actually out damage it with a reverse + shield. Of course the numbers can differ, but I would say if you can't at least get 150 attack with the reverse + shield, I would go with the ST.
