am i looking for the right person?

So i realised something really really sad. Im nearly 16 and i havnt had my first kiss yet. sometime back i thought that i was waiting for the right person, but now im not so sure. How do i tell if i really am waiting for the right person? i thought i had found the right one but she broke my heart about 1/2 weeks ago and i havn't talked to her since cus its become really awkward between us. its really wierd because some of my friends have had sex and all that and im stuck at my first kiss. My self esteem is pretty low because i dont think im good looking and to be honest, what girl at my age goes for a personality over the looks? I'm usually the friend guy because im a good listener and i listen to them when they want to talk. So what do you think? am i looking for the right person or is it because god made me on a bad day?

I'm 16, haven't even had a GF yet.. Or even had a 1 on 1 convo with a girl in my grade :S I'm too shy and same problem as u, I have low self esteem and don't think I look good. Don't worry, there's always someone else just like you

I just dont know if im waiting for the right person or im just that ugly.

Listen and listen carefully, you're looking for someone to love someone to care about that would also care about you, but not something simple something real, a person you could talk to and hang out with. Do not rush anything, enjoy what you have and aim for that and if you don't get it there's no reason to get frustrated and give up.

[/quote] okay im in year 11 at the moment, i leave school at the end of next year, i can start to learn to drive when im 16. I can get a scooter license RIGHT now and ride without a guardian on the roads. Still young?

Also I know a lot of people who are in grade 12 that haven't had a first kiss or a girlfriend/boyfriend. A few first years at college too. But there's no need to compare yourself with others, just do what feels right for you :]

I still feel like I'm five years old regardless! You're young and have plenty of time, get over it and see it as a great thing!
