ive been to school in both FL and NY and honestly i hate both. in FL you couldnt get away with anything but school was way easier, in NY grad requirements are okay (i cant stand some teachers though esp my current eng teacher, works people like slaves) but as long as your messing around you pretty much dont get in trouble.

Lol same here! Except I went to gifted programs in both states and had AMAZING teachers. Just the technology in NY was WAY better because we had a higher budget. In Miami we still use gray windows 2000 machines

[/quote] well i never went to high school in Florida but im sure its not anywhere near as hard as up here (this year ive had rampant essays and tests and an 8-10 page research paper is a grad requirement). i would love to go to high school in the most redkneckish places possible (there i could probably be sleep deprived and have no trouble passing).

[/quote] I went to high school in my senior year in Texas, my boyfriend is a senior graduating this year and he lives in the redneck area of Florida. he says the people are nice and everything, so yepyep.

I tried to file a lawsuit against a high school I used to attend for kicking me off the soccer team for refusing to say the Lord's Prayer after each and every game, stating "demoralizing the team" as reason. Afterwards, they denied the whole thing and said they kicked me off for perfectly legitimate reasons (that of which they did not state). A couple of weeks later I was expelled for doing drugs (which I did, but what the hell did I care anymore.)

Wanna hear something retarded ? Come to Canada,QC. There is CEGEP there,the system works on a R-Score,it's a sort of GPA that counts You VS your group avg,force,etc... So basically,you can get into a group where everyone is a smart ass and get out with a crappy R-Score,then in university,you can't apply anywhere. Or get into a group where 90% of people are retards,and get into med straight out(like me).... So those who got a crappu r-score have to complete a bachelor to enter highly competitive programs,while those iwth good scores can enter Law,Med,Dent,Pharm,Opto,Adm,Eng straight out. This system is the worst and i really envy the U.S. system,MUCH MUCH MUCH less complicated.

Florida is... No. The area I live in, the kids are spoiled silly. However a lot of the kids actually are motivated to work, the school I go to is decent. I'd rather be back in Virginia however.
