In the article it said " What do you have to do on May 11th? Well, cancel it because MapleStory is throwing an anniversary blow-out bash! For 12 solid hours you can get 2x EXP and Drop--that�s double the experience from morning until night." So now Nexon is telling me to skip school to play maplestory? Encouraging addiction to maplestory? The article (Official Site) Edit: Oh lol i didnt realize there were threads exactly like this. My bad. It doesnt effect me, i dont go to school. They did an event like this on Christmas day also. I didnt participate in that one. Nexon's x2 timing has been not so great imo

Dam. If only it was the 12th. Got a track meet. Don't go to school, and my race isn't until 2pm :D Maplestory shouldn't be important enough that you have to skip school. But yeah, weekends please.

Lol they aren't encouraging you to do anything. May 11th is their B-Day and they are celebrating it with 12 hours of 2x. It is your choice if you skip school or don't make plans for the day. They aren't saying "Hey Guys come on Play MapleStory Skip school don't plan anything for today because we are having 12 hours 2x." Even if you have school or whatever you will still have a good 7 hours 2x. Is that not good enough? Why don't you just accept what you get and not ask for more? At least there is some 2x for you and its not like you will miss out on the whole thing. Would you rather have 2 hours 2x here and there? In my opinion this is a good way of giving 2x.

"Omg nexon is telling me to cancel my plans and just play maple." But if you actually think about it more and more you will see they are actually saying "Look if you don't have plans come play maple we are having 12 hours 2x."
