Because god hates you. Mesmorizer brought to my attention that the 11th of May is Maple story's true b'day, the reason why NEXON does this on the 11th of May is because that is maple story's b'day . Let me understand WTF does NEXON owe you that you complain about not having 2x? Big number of people of the maple community doesn't even buy NX and NEXON pays for the servers of how many worlds? And how many channels? And another thing, since when did GMS become USMS? You who complain about the 2x event being on your school time would it make you happier if the 2x would've been only 6 hours and between 4PM to 10PM? Just so you know the times of 2x here in my country are 7PM to 7AM. Why the F do you have to concentrate on the dark side of NEXON? Did you forget the EXP curve? or the surveys? Yeah they do gain money of of both of them but it's nice that there's a little buzz about those things and it's forgotten after 1 month and the hate to NEXON is there constantly. If you have a problem with my English enjoy marking it and becoming the hero of basilmarket. "OMG IT'S NAMS NOT GMS HAHA U PHAIL" Good luck playing KMS, TMS or most of the other servers without setting a proxy IP. "NaMS" doesn't require my social security number (which I don't have but you Americans do), this game is in English which is the most common languge and the language taught most worldwide, myself and many Europeans can still play this game. So this game is called american MS but it's still GMS so you can all shove your "win" up your ass.

GMS became "USMS" the moment they IP banned Europeans, gave them their own version, and started on BrazilMS. They're slowly trying to phase out the rest of the world. I'm not even saying that's a good thing; I'm just stating facts. Anyway, I agree with the rest of what you're saying, and this is coming from someone who has classes until 10 at night on Tuesdays. It does makes sense given the context; after all, it is the actual anniversary date. But it doesn't make sense if Nexon's goal is to have the optimum amount of people enjoying the events. This just seems like they're paying lip service to their own anniversary, and to top it off, it was announced at the last minute. But hey, whatever.

Agreeed. Nexon could have done a better job on this event, but they don't owe us anything. They're the ones giving us a game, if people don't like it and complain about not getting 2x then they can quit or stop whining.
