Hybrid, Yes or no? Also Weapon help :D

Okay should i be a hybrid or not? People say i should but i dont alot of them..... Also what weapon should i use from level 20~ 43? Am thinking Pumpkin spear and then scrolling with 60% but people dont sell them.... ( i scrolled one but 2/7 worked....) Should i scroll a fish spear? I am a to be Drk

I'd say definitely go hybrid as it leaves more options open for you.

Go hybrid, You'll be able to use both polearms (superior in regards to the slash:stab ratio, AND rocks at mobbing which the majority of 3rd job and the start of 4th job relies upon) and spears (excellent at bossing and vs 1-3 monsters). For more information READ THE FRIGGIN STICKIES in the spearman section please. Unneccesary threads are annoying, when ALL the answers are in the guides.

What he said ^^ 20~43? i went with a pumpkin spear, 50 atk. till 43, Than switched to this implaer, 79 atk. Dramatic Dmg shift D:

Iron will sucks, 20 defense will NOT save your life Final attack will NOT work past 3rd job (Just like bowmen) Dragon Blood is a waste of 20 SP because of Warrior Elixirs (no sp required, immune to dispell, last 8 minutes, doesnt take away your hp) Sacrifice is a worthless skill, Dragon Roar is used more often to get into berserk mode, only have 3 SP in this skill for Roar. Power Crash is a worthless skill, Priest/Bishop dispell is better Pole Arm Crusher is terrible but you knew that already. In 2nd Job you get both masteries, both boosters, and hb maxed. In 3rd Job, Pole Arm Fury is used to level you just as fast as a Pure Pole arm would. ER is necissary as you will have enough points, Roar is used at places like Typhons, but mostly used to get into berserk mode. Spear crusher is only used in those little places like dojo or killing area bosses which can be easily done with PA fury anyway. In 4th Job Spear Crusher is for skeles and bossing at 4th job, Spear fury is to kill low hp monsters after hit by a crusher faster. Do I have to post this every time when someone asks "why hybrid?"?

Keep in mind you can't really tell just by looking at people, just because they have a spear equipped constantly doesn't mean they are pure spear. I'm hybrid and I know a lot a lot of other hybrid drks.
