I Finally Got a Maple Shield. Now what?

Ok, after many long and maple-relate item free hours, I finally got my maple shield. However, I have no idea what to do with it. I have 2 characters that could use it, though they aren't characters I put a ton of time into. Should I just sell it, and if so for how much? It only has 8 weapon def and no avoid, so i don't know how much that affects the price.

I feel it is better to leave the maple shield as it is and don't upgrade it.

I would sell it. Magician Shield gives a measly boost of 2int for lvl 64, and don't need Theif Shied. I would rather do for a nice, much cheaper Esther Shiled (the +1INT ones)for my mage.

Do not upgrade, everyone who is telling you do upgrade is a noob. Upgrading will drastically decrease the price. Why is maple shield so expensive in the first place? Because it has 10 slots, is used by all jobs, and has a low level requirement. By upgrading, you limit the shield to only one class, make it for lvl 64+ only, and give it a few extra stats. The extra 4 or so stats are not worth all the new restrictions. Do not upgrade it to the lvl 64 shield.
