Does GMS have a Test Server like kMS? And how does the Test Servers work? Cause spadow always post about kMS' test servers, is it like, everyone can use or some special people?

We used to have them, I remember testing showa town, and the one before that when CPQ came out. The picked 5000 the first time, I was one of them and then some error happened the second time and all the old beta testers got to go on again. It was good times. They haven't done it since then. Edit, I think it was the first one that had Ariant as well. Either way, they were just big publicity things like the current Halo Reach Beta which is AMAZING :D

Special People, and they shut down GMST ages ago, I mean, Why do you need to test stuff when it's already been tested ,even in another country right? And I believe you sign up and they select you. Then you download a special version of MapleStory and it connects to a dedicated server in which the only world is Tespia

We had GMST for a few sessions last year, but it was discontinued due to faulty selection process. (read: conditions weren't strict enough so they got testers who were not serious about actually testing things) [quote] ron97595 : Why do you need to test stuff when it's already been tested ,even in another country right? [/quote] Using the test server for at least 3 hours would have made them aware of the glitches with the cake v pie event, which is GMS exclusive content.

We had this issue with Kerning Square. They patched over the option to select NLC, and the option was simply no longer there. Not to mention we've had some very obvious glitches that never should have occured, assuming nexon would play test. For example, when it was impossible to stun or freeze monsters.

There will also be more of the exclusive content. That hasn't been tested in any other version before. Nexon did say that they might bring back Tespia in the future though.

Basically, the test server was useless. (I only say wave 3 because I don't know anyone/have any info on waves 1 and 2, and was in wave 3)
