Bandits look fun, all the jumping around with SB and boomerang step seems pretty enticing. I wanna be able to move around the map and avoid stuff all like voom voom pew pew voom like some ninja it looks really fun. I wanna be a STR dit because i like the way the dragon khanjar or w/e it is looks. Before i start my dit: Is it hard to train them? Are we good at bosses? Is it fun?

Dits are denefitely fun, but require a bit of control. I heard they arent the best at bossing but there is no easy way to get into runs unless you got hook ups.

They're fun from 70+, they're also slow to train because they don't have any mobbing skills until they get B.O.T.

I think it's quite fun, but do realize that it will be hell for you starting at level 20 to when you hit 3rd job. Unfortunately for us, bandit grinding is very tedious at lower levels...unless you were ooberly funded. Though, it is very rewarding to see your SB racking 6 hits, when you max Haste/booster/mastery, and when you can combine them to become a speedy powerhouse As for bosses, bandits so-so. If you were a bandit, bossing would not be that great since you are still learning the ropes of using a bandit. CBs do have it a lot easier as you can bomb them, but the negative is that you use mesos. And when you hit 4th job, Shadower, you could practically do most bosses alone due to the invincibility frames of BS and Shifter. I would recommend bandits if you are not too hung up on damage output, but rather, enjoyability. As it is a difficult road to be a bandit, but I think it's quite rewarding in the end.

Bandits basically suck but they're the most fun. But the balance patch, they're going to get MUCH stronger. They'er easy to train, you can go to those wraiths in CWK and also Typhons.

Bandits are hard to train. CB's are easy for the 1st few levels then get hard. Shads start to get easy a couple levels in training wise. I'm also pumping up taunt, so it's helpful. As to bosses, CB's can boss with ME to kill silly things and are alright with area bosses Shads are wonderful in regards t area bosses. The only one I really have trouble with atm is Lyka due to Seduce, but I last longer than my other friends due to Shadow Shifter. In regards to Zakum/Targa/HT, etc. we're not the best. We're basically good at surviving which is why we're needed for HT but not as damage dealers. Once the Balance Patch comes, our dpm shoots up a nice amount so I've heard. They are quite fun imo. :D

Bandits aren't hard to train at lower levels if you become a Sindit. Train as a sin, without any points on Double Stab, but pick Bandit as your job when you reach level 30. Just train from there on with claws until you have a good amount or maxed SB. As to skills, bandits probably have a more variety of skills as you reach 3rd job. It may seem hell if you're unfunded like me, but it's quite fun to when you get BoT and Assaulter. It makes training a lot more easier to maneuver around. As for STR bandit, convert when you're around level 80 for Khanjar. You do not have to necessarily convert from there. From what I heard, STR/LUK bandits do the same damage until level 70, but STR bandits surpass LUK bandit at 4th job. If all you want is the Dragon Khanjar, not the Khanjar, then convert when you're at around 100~120.

Bandits are hell to train really. But damn are they fun. Like people have said, once you hit CB it starts getting a lot easier what with mobbing. Meso Guard helps LOADS. So far I've only gotten up to lvl 86 but I'm loving my Bandit more than anything :3

Hard to train. Somewhat, depends on boss and party. VERY FUN. Dits and Sairs tie for me.

2nd Job bandits are awful. Short range + only 1 attack + no mobbing makes it pretty boring and slow compared to other jobs. Third job isn't too bad, very fast in the beginning if you ME train and about even with most other jobs after that, and 4th job is pretty nice. Shadowers are one of the, if not THE, fastest non-mage training job.
