so how many paints do you need to complete picture? do you need certain colours?

Mushroom portrait = 20 Octopus portrait = 40 Yeti = 80 (I think) You can use any and all watercolor paints you find

Yea, what parallax said. However, that is if you use the yellow-orange paint (forgot the color). There are 2 other paints (one of them is purple) dropped by higher level monsters. I heard that, lets say 1 purple paint is equal to 5 orange ones (not real numbers). So it depends on what portrait you have and what type of paint you use.

The real number are 2 yellow = 1 purple and 4 yellow = 1 blue. So you only need 20 blues for a complete if I remember right.

I've tried both yellows and purples on my portrait and it's always 40 watercolor paints no matter which ones I use.

Yeah it doesn't matter what color you use it is a certain amount per portrait. My mistake because I just tried it and was the same.

Colour dosent matter i was doing a yeti picture and i still had to use 80 blue paints
