I know single-target damage output isn't everything, but anyone see something really wrong with this post-balance list of DPS output on a single target? 1. Corsair 2. Night Lord + Sharp Eyes 3. Marksman 4. Bowmaster 5. Aran 6. Shadower 7. Paladin 8. Heroes 9. Dark Knight 10. Night Lord 11. Buccaneer 12. F/P AM 13. I/L AM 14. Evan 15. Bishop Just found it really odd. :[
imjesse : If it's so readily available then it should be factored into all classes, or no classes (Except for the classes that actually LEARN the buff) that's just common sense.
If you gave all classes SE, the ranks (when corrected) will still be pretty much the same except for NLs, so writing (with SE/without SE) for all the others would be pointless. Well, there are Arans, which get a nice boost from SE too (forgot where they land with SE, but when Critical Rings come out, their 100+ combo output is gonna be massive-er). xD
imjesse : If it's so readily available then it should be factored into all classes, or no classes (Except for the classes that actually LEARN the buff) that's just common sense.
When you do factor it in, none of the other classes besides Aran really benefit enough to really change their positions in the DPM rankings. Pretty much what Orange said above.
Scomomage : Because buccs are rarely present in boss runs.
Exactly. It doesn't make sense to party a bucc for DPM reasons, since a bucc's relatively low DPM probably cancels out most of the bonus SI gives to the rest of the party, which isn't that great anyways (besides, BMs and NLs, two of the top party attackers, don't benefit from SI at all). However, partying a BM or MM for SE makes perfect sense because NLs get a HUGE bonus from it, and BMs and MMs are top attackers in the first place, so you're really not losing out on DPM just by having them in your party. Don't get me wrong, Buccs are still very good bossers because of their invincibility frames, decent survivability, and great control/rushing ability with CSB. Their raw DPM just isn't as high as that of other classes.

Here's a fun fact though: Buccaneers can have the greatest effect on the time it takes to down major bosses. Other classes don't even come close.
Why, because SI is either useless or not that great for top attacker classes (BM and NL don't benefit at all, while MM and Corsair only benefit slightly) while any other warrior can rush and help pin while still having better DPM than a Bucc?

Who cares about this? Only thing that matters is sairs PWN u and yo mama! :D jk. But seriously whats the point of arguing ovr dpm... I have a outlaw (slowly but surely making my way to sair) and i want a NL. they appear to have the highest dpm throwin 4 & 6 starzz.. But in calculated research sairs and bm/mm PWN... O.o
Takeback3r : Who ever said the buccaneer had to be attacking?
... What is the buccaneer doing? Buffing the ranged attackers with SI, which is either useless or provides a relatively small bonus to them? Unless you're in a party of all warriors or something, I just don't see how it would really matter. Or maybe it's like a zak run and there's plenty of slots for everyone, so you add a Bucc to buff the warriors? That would make sense. And in any situation, I'm pretty sure not attacking would be...not good for the party's damage. LOL.

This list doesn't seem accurate. I don't really boss and I don't really care for damage so I'm good.

If you knew anything about buccaneers or high level bosses though, this might have gotten more interesting.

You shouldnt add the "+sharp eyes" that isnt their individual characteristic. Also paladins > Arans on 1v1 output dmg
