I was wondering if it is a good idea to never make a job advancement and stay as a beginner till 200. Also onion knights are a myth right?
martvg : why people make it: (=pros?) boredom or looking attention cons you'll get stuck with more boredom most likely even before 30 and will quit and can't figure out why you started it in the first place
Boredom? Like being a jobbie is fun. go cast some lvl 120 skills and ks someone.

I made a beginner at the very beginning of my "Maple Career" and I thought its boring sometimes and that I don't want to play on it anymore, but I figured out lately that my beginner will always be my main, since its the best class there is. Doesn't matter if u FW all the way to 70 and then leech, or Grind all the way to 200, I really think beginners is what Maple Story is all about. I would never quit my beginner or delete it, And if I will, I guess that means I won't be playing maple anymore, since there's no use of playing without a Beginner.

Anyways to answer your question since we kinda didn't already, that I know of. Its not a good idea to make a Beginner, reach level 200, then job advance. Thats actually the worst idea. Its not easy to hit level 200 even with leeching it takes awhile. Onion Knight's are in Final Fantasy never would Nexon allow something like this.

First of all, getting to 200 on a Beginner just isn't going to happen any time soon. Why? DC hackers. Straat and Noobegg were BOTH getting DC hacked during the whole Straat vs Noobegg thing the other month. Thus, getting to 200, leech or not, is next to impossible. Here are the pros and cons from my mouth: +(has a card game set up in FoG on Ch1 with a random Chief Bandit luring Mixed Golems into me for 1 damage when he takes 250+) +Oops forgot return scrolls (kills himself) thanks for the free return to town and not charging me 10% of my EXP +If funded well jobbies will be weaker than you 1st job and part way into 2nd +Freedom of weapon choice; not restricted to one type of weapon +You find out how overrated skills are -Have fun getting into PQs/parties -Have fun having literally EVERYONE able to KS you -Lots of drama involved -Your damage more or less stops around level 70 when you start getting into end-game weapons -Having godly gear doesn't make a big enough difference to be noticed (in other words; a flat broke Beginner isn't THAT MUCH worse than a Beginner sporting 500m+ in funding) -Enjoy having your maximum damage with that Maple Snowboard be over ten times your minimum damage
