Assasin vs Gunslinger Pros and cons

Hey guys i was just wondering if u guys could tell me the pros and cons of picking an assasin or a gunslinger? Thanks =)

My Characters: ThiefLord224 - 49 Broa Assassin

Gunslinger: Low damage levels 10-70, lots of mobility, highly enjoyable, fun class, obtains the highest DPM in the game later on in 4th job :].

gunslingers are probably the hardest class to get to 120, in their lvls from 1-120 they will do the weakest dmg out of all other classes. plus you'll be sniping newties from lvl 80-120+ for training. but after 4th job they get great dmg with all their flashy new skills

haha im also getting 25-50k nx and i have about 10m cash with a 10-20m staff that i could sell =D, i have a level 49 sin and im making a slinger but im not sure who to continue/get nx on.

Assassin: Fastest attacker Strongest attacker with apple + se (when do you ever NOT have that for a boss run..) Haste? Best mobility in the game. Really fun class in the late 3rd job and all of the fourth. Gunslinger: Crap damage from 1-70 but it's amazing after wards. Strongest solo class in the game. Good mobility throughout the life of the character Used a lot in boss runs Rare, so it's fun to see them.

OT: Pros : Assassin Fast training 1-120 Highly Mobile Readily Available equipment Simple play style High attack speed High avoid Low pot cost (Alchemy) Gunslinger CHEAP equipment Highest Solo and Partied DPM in the game. Variety of playstyles and skills Higher HP than other ranged classes Bullets are cheap Easy to build Decent training speed 120+ CONS : Assassin Highly expensive for maximal damage output Low HP makes for difficulties in unwashed characters Can get boring VERY quickly High competition Negative image that comes with the class Gunslinger DPM in 4th is reliant on skill, not equipment (keep your ship alive) Bullets are finite, period. Slow, boring training 80->120, and 150+. Require a minimum level of 140-150 to achieve maximal DPM. Low numbers, small community in small servers can leave you lonely. Equipment (especially godly) is not readily available. Summary : Depending on what you're playing is what you should choose. There is no 'better' class. If you want outright DPM, go for the slinger. If you want variety, go for the slinger. If you want mobility and the feeling of being untouchable, go Assassin. If you enjoy bossing but don't have connections, go assassin. If you're unfunded, go slinger. If you like popular classes, go assassin. If you like increased benefits from pots, go assassin. What is your playstyle? We can list the pros and cons but no class is 'better' until we know what you WANT.
