Why cant they just have left it like last years and add a couple new GOOD features...this year sucks. Last year and all the years before that were better

^_^ I love Maplestory. I do I do. It's just really frown able that the people that want to participate in the actual Cake Vs. Pie deal have to have really, good computers ^_^; I can't even go to these and get "Insignias" I think people are mostly bummed that they have no way apart from upgrading their computer (And most children/people) which they cannot. And...2x EXP? I guess it's just them not giving it every day. (Sigh) They'll have some. You know they will. Sometime ;-;

I think this years anni wasnt as good as it could be, but they have went all out to exagerate the birthday aspect. Although im glad the maple weapons are back, at the very least that's something.

Yes a lot of things are very NX dependable, but has anyone else noticed after everyone of these events Nexon somehow branches out/upgrades something basic for the game? Pic/Website/Ticket system/MLB/ect. ect. They are small changes, by no means am I saying they fixed every problem that the community faces. But they are changes, they are impacts even to a degree. The money they make off these nx events are going to investments to make this game better. Although nexon isn't perfect now, these changes are implying that perhaps in the near future their system will greatly improve. But this will not be a process that happens over night so people need to be more tolerant that these are out of college grads doing their best. Half the things maple provides, they legally don't have too, that including a ticketing system because it is a free service. I can understand everyones frustration but everyone needs to chill. If an event isn't perfect there's always next patch lol.

I'd rather there not be an event then there be one that just sucks and makes the server lag or d/c a whole ch. Also, you CAN do just about anything, it's just up to you to decide whether or not you do it. Another thing, this anniversary is less than "not-so-amazing" it's complete crap.

[/quote] The event is fun, however it's not Nexon's fault that the server lags when half the server is in one channel. I don't understand your begrudery, they added a cute birthday concept of Pie vs Cake. What else you want? A repeate of big puff daddies being spammed all over the place? Pink bean jump quest crap? Grass is always greener, plus the only thing you as a bishop could participate in is..2x events and hunting for a junk quest.

[/quote] Pay2Play, not PlayerVsPlayer. xD Edit: I found 1 Maple Shield so far. So I'm satisfied. Pretty sure the people who get multiple weapons wouldn't be happy if Nexon just said "oh nevermind, undo!" and took away the event and the maple items found this year away. xD
