Nexon head: So guys, I herd u like watching noobs d/c each other. GMs: Yeah! It's so fun watching 10 year olds download hacks off of google and just d/c whoever they want! Nexon head: Hmm... maybe we should split maple into two groups and tell them that they're fighting each other! Really? this is overall just a bad idea. What's even worse, though, is that people are actually acting like 10 year olds because Nexon told them to If you post a 10 year old comment I win Killcount: 1 :D

In fact, I think the idea itself is awesome. The execution...is not so great as of now unfortunately. Unless you live close to the servers maybe. XD

One fail to this event is cause of the automatic side decision, they choose which side you are put on automatically and because of that it angers most of the community cause they wanted the other. And also the way how they bosses just spawns in the map when the bar reaches 100%, it is a horrible way of fighting a boss when it comes to like 100 vs 100 maplers on each side in 1 map, wouldve atleast worked if they could do an instance to a different map. But thats just my opinion, i wouldnt know how to prepare these kinds of events :P

If they gave maplers the choice, one side would be completely stacked (people who know where the high levels are), and the other would be full of noobs that don't. As for the boss... why would you spawn it in the easiest to access town in Maplestory in only one channel and once per four hours?

One reason is to stop people from rigging the events. (For example, everyone choosing the same side on purpose) But the reasoning I think they used is to make the event fair. If you even look at just all the basil threads and polls in regards to the event before it came out, there was a big majority of people choosing cake. If we all got to choose in-game what we wanted, the teams would have been stacked, making the event unfair and, in my opinion, less fun.
