Maple Asura Dagger or Maple Dark Mate?

I see that the Asura dagger's base stats set it at 2 w. atk higher than the dark mate's and 1 luk compared to the dark mate's 2 str (the one luk being better due to the damage formula) However, the dark mate has a faster attack speed. How do the two compare in terms of damage superiority? Is there also an underlying slash/stab system like what warriors have to deal with?

They are both pretty much both the same, base difference is so minimum that it won't make a difference. It just boils down too looks.

Asura is techincally slightly better because it has higher base attack, but many people prefer the dark mate due to looks. I, personally, would sacrifice a few att for the dark mate. Note: The asura is fast and the dark mate is faster, but realistically, it doesn't make a difference when you apply booster.
