So today, it's the usual, hearing my neighbor who lives below me abusing his wife again. It was okay all my life living here and the past two months or so, I'll hear the wife screaming "please no", "I'll listen, I'll do whatever you want", "don't hit me with that" and others. It goes on for 5-10 minutes and happens again the next week or week and a half. I'm not sure about him physically abusing his daughter, but heard her cry a few times and they have a new born who's being raised in this mess. Also last week, I come out of my apartment to head to school and I think I saw him and it was a glance. I never met to guy or his wife, but the guy's screaming at some woman, telling her to call her detective friend a couple of time and making threats, so I could guess it was him. Things is I and the neighbors never did anything or called the police... I know if I call the police, it's already done, too late by the time they arrive and she may deny it. One for him being there and telling her not to or she's afraid she'll get beat more and two she still loves him. What else can I do in this situation? I'm not going down there to fix things up.

@first poster: I know what's gonna happen when I call the police. I wrote the two outcome of calling them. @Above: I've been doing it for the past two month and sometimes I can't sleep if it happens through the night or in the middle of the night.

Wow you really are terrible OP. This guy is giving you entertainment that is way better than TV and you want to throw that all away. Next time he starts beating his wife pull up a chair and some popcorn and enjoy life.
