Leveling equips? Is it possible

Is it possible to level an item without scrolling it? And can timeless and reverse only be leveled, or can other items also be leveled? My last question, what is leveling (an equip), like what happens? I got this question after reviewing a video- anyways any post helps ^_^

So far, just Reverse and Timeless items Lvl Up. Well, you kill monsters and the equip gains exp like you do and when it hits 100%, it lvls, giving additional stats. xD And a Magician named NightlordXIX. Crazy. xD

Crazy. xD [/quote] Balrog shoes can also level, just not as much as Reverse/Timeless @TS: Yes, you can level the equip before scrolling it.

leveling an equip =/= scrolling an equip. from what i know, only reverse and timeless equips and weapons can level up. after gaining 30m exp (with the equip/weapon equipped), there will be a mini-level up. they can level 3 times. random stats raise. :D
