What's the point in making an Evan?

First, they're slow and have bad mobility. Then, they don't have that good skills, and they are strong but the amount of time it takes to do the same thing isn't worth it. And then they have good skills at first, so they do more damage than a lot of classes so they level quickly in the beginning, which doesn't really matter that much since it's not a huge difference. And comparing a same level and nearly same funded F/P Arch Magician to an Evan, the F/P Arch Magician seems to be a lot better as far as DPM goes. I then looked at much different funded Bishops and I/P Arch Magicians as well as other F/P Arch Magicians. I'd say Evan passes Bishop but the arch magicians are much better in DPM. I also think the class is boring. You click the hot-key but it's the dragon doing everything. Your character just does like a instructing wave and the dragon does all the skills, which I think isn't fun. I'd rather just be going everywhere along the map then just sitting in one spot on the map, pressing the hot-key over and over and go to the next, etc. And then you pay money for the class if you want it to be better. I think it's possible not to, but it probably takes forever. And then I'm not doing those stupid free survey things for NX on a class like Evan. For Dual Blader, but not an Evan.

seconded, The point of Evan is fun for some players. for others, the point is glasses, and still others its to try something new. I could just as easily ask whats the point of dual blades? You have to spend Nx to get skills they only last a temporary time, and last I heard they can only get to 120. Basically an extra Cygnus. and I bet you had a similar complaint to the cygnus as well...

Lets see, they are fun to some people and not to others. And when you say standing in one spot pressing a hot key, that refers to Bishops. Evans are very different from that.

As an Evan, I've yet to find myself standing in one spot and pressing my hot keys. I will also add that I use more than one attack skill while training.

AMAZING HUH HOW VISUALS CAN DO THIS TO PEOPLE It should not matter in any way how your character attacks, whether it be through a dragon or through a wand or staff. The only difference is the presence or lack of some pixels.

I love my evan, Ive playd dual blades and beleive me its about as boring. Evans do not (until earthquake) stand in one spot and spam a skill. All other mages, do. Their mobility is the exact same as every mage, teleport. Exept they get it at lvl 20, not 30, and have it maxd at 30 not almost 70. Therefor evans have BETTER mobility. They do much more damage than other mages, and once you get critical and booster? You basicly blast past everything. THE ONLY downfall to evans is that illusion isnt all that great (exept wt SE or Thorns), they dont get an AoE at 120, and that they arent lazy mages. Cant just stand in one spot and spam a skill. Thats my sounded opinion. ^^ evans for the win!

And I'm sure Clerics don't spam one skill at ALL. Especially not HEAL. Oh god the horror. Spamming a skill? X: That must make Evans a horrible class, since all they do is spam <strike>HEAL</strike> some attacks with nice animation and godly damage.

evans are so fun when 100+ and training at himes you can use multitudes of attack combos like freeze them first then push them a far then fire! or at skeles freeze them push then flamewheel or earthquake but a gallos earthquake is a beast and yes evans are very fun and the fact that your stating that the dragon does all the work and you just command it how much difference does it make with arch mages it just comes out from their hands or something but basically doing the same motion
