Hi basil, i am coming off my second suspension(in less than 2 months) I have read the rules and some of them i dont understand(im not retarded, i just dont understand). Can some one dumb down(or un online slang the rules for me?)

No cursing, if you post a website and it blocks it don't try to change something to get it to work, don't making anything offensive, and some other stuffs.

Rule #1 - Attacking Dont diss people (call them stupid or swear at them). Rule #2 - Trolling & Spamming dont write stuff that have nothing to do with anything. also trolling means making people mad on purpose or something like that. Rule #3 - Inappropriate content Dont put dumb stuff in your posts. eg. pron sites or racist crap, swearing (oh the irony) Rule #4 - Illegal Activities dont talk about any illegal thing in REAL life. ex. drugs, and stuff. this is a dumb rule. dont talk about servers that are private tho. Rule #5 - Advertising dont advertise other forums. and dont advertise YOUR thread on other threads. Rule #6 - Ambiguous/Misleading titles, Misplaced threads make related titles to your topic. what u did is good. Rule #7 - False Player Details don't put fake stuff. put your real character in the auction. wtc. Rule #8 - Auction system fraud dont make fake auctions just to get feed back. Rule #9 - Personal Information dont put personal info. like home address and phone number Rule #10 - Bypassing Jail if you are suspended, dont go use another account. there.

Rule #1 - Attacking - Don't be mean to other users. This rule is REALLY broad. A simple sarcastic comment that has no malicious intention may be considered attacking. I have been suspended for being a "smartass", too, so don't act mean in general. Rule #2 - Trolling & Spamming - Don't purposely say things for people to get mad at you. This is "trolling." Don't purposely post useless things and trash like a whole post of "@@@@@@@@", and also don't post a completely off topic or irrelevant post. Something to note is that, I don't think the mods actually check the thread itself when they check a reported comment. This means, if you post something random, like, "It's a lie." when the thread content was about a cake formula, but the thread title said "Cake cake cake!", mods would probably turn a switch and suspend. In the thread itself, people would know that you're responding to the title. I'm not completely sure on this, but actually a quite a few of my suspensions would fit this description. Rule #3 - Inappropriate content - No cussing on forums, and don't post any links with excessively gory or sexual content, this is considered inappropriate content. Also, don't bypass cuss filters. This will result in a suspension. Rule #4 - Illegal Activities - Don't discuss or encourage illegal activities such as illegal MapleStory servers, hacking, illegal software or activities, (LimeWire, emulators, etc.) I've seen in some suspensions that even the MENTION of any of these illegal products may result in a suspension. Rule #5 - Advertising - Don't advertise, in a thread or something, your character, any items to sell, and don't ask for any items on the forums. Rule #6 - Ambiguous/Misleading titles, Misplaced threads - Don't purposely word your title to be misleading so that people will enter it. Rule #7 - False Player Details - Don't impersonate other players. Like, don't put your character as Tiger or Fangblade or something. Rule #8 - Auction system fraud - Don't create several accounts and gain feedback, or don't collaborate with friends or your multiple accounts to bump a price up. Rule #9 - Personal Information You are not allowed to post personal information on BasilMarket. Personal information includes, but doesn't mention all of them: � Birthdays � Legal Names � Home addresses � Phone numbers � Email addresses or instant messenger id's If you choose to disrespect someone's privacy you may be permanently banned from the site. Additionally, do not make topics asking for other users' personal information; these topics will be deleted. Practice basic internet safety. Rule #10 - Bypassing Jail - If you ever get suspended, don't create another account to post.
