There's been a lot of talk about this event and it makes me curious, whats going to happen to people like me who don't really have a good computer or a lot of ram. Pretty much I cant even participate I'll enter the map, lag, probably dc. Thank god I'm only going for the rolling pin...

To help you there, get Spybot: Search and Destroy ~ its freeware and you can get it at filehippo.com. Other than that, I need more info on your situation.

For you people who have crap compies. You might wanna try what I recently did. I went to wal-mart and bought this nice little USB device for about 40$ (U.S.) plus tax. It works like a USB drive in how you plug it in. It actually increases the computer speed. I think this one raised it like 300 MB? Doesn't seem amazing to people who use "super good" computers. But it really helped me a lot. Idk if anyone else is willing to try it, but wanted to offer some help regardless considering I understand how important fun events are, and lag sucks :/

yeah, but my friend has a Dell that is like 7 years old and I gave him Spybot and CCleaner to help his system out ... and its been running a little better than before, and then for the internet situation, is it a router that is connecting several computers or what?

Oh and the USB device I mentioned, can be switched from computer to computer, which I find really nice. In case my current comp craps out, or I can afford a new comp, or use my friend's laptop. Of coarse other help would include: CCleaner / Defragmentation / Lower resolution on maple. If anyone wants some help just mail me and I can do what I can. I hope everyone has a Happy Anniversary event :D

haha, ^ like this guy, though on the defragmentation is going to take a while ... so CCleaner, Spybot: Search and Destroy (best free spyware program out there [freeware]) but you should definitely check out www.filehippo.com, there are free trials and freeware that are useful ... and yeah that USB device does work wonders ... xD
