What if maplestoy was P2P (Pay to Play)?

You would have trials and stuff, but once you logout everything is Gone, All Accounts would still be there but When you login They ask you to upgrade your membership Prices are as following: 1 week $2.50 1 month $5,00 3 months $14,95 6 months $28,00 1 year $ 55,00 You can choose from gifts that come with the memberships (make your own gifts and tell in your post if you would keep playing or would quit) Nx would still be there but you would still be paying extra for it, same prices and stuff Nx clothes will not last longer Well, Tell in your post

maple story is P2P. and they charge alot more than other games. those who play for free are playing demo version

I would keep playing. I've spent enough NX on this game and feel even if it was a monthy payment that wouldn't bring me down. Unlike the others who say WoW is a better game to play, if you had to pay I think that would be a waste of my time. Sorry but WoW is too embarrassing to play, it also steals lives.

I'm not sure what it is in the states, but regardless, I played for a year. And in that one year, I met a lot of people classified as "griefers" who play purely to annoy others. I was lucky to be in a PVE server, not PVP. There's probably a lot more grief players in PVP servers where they can level to the cap, get some decent gear then gank low level players who are starting out. So yeah. I think honestly, you'd still have plenty of jerks in Maplestory, but I'd hope if it turned officially P2P that customer service would improve, and that they would give us more events or content to keep things interesting.

[/quote] And Maplestory doesn't? What world are you living in? If the game were p2p, everything in the cs should be free. Why would I pay twice for the same game? That just seems silly to me. Also, I would probably quit. I don't have the money to keep up a pay per month game at the moment.

Well, if it was to become a pay-to-play, they could've at least adapted the same kind of idea Rose Online had back in the days: once their "cash shop" was introduced, you were given NX-equivalents for all the previous monthly payments; free to use in the store. The same was done every time you payed for another month.

Anyway uh, I think that making it P2P would filter out a crapload of people. And, if they had a subscription fee, it should be really small. Like, Runescape's price for membership. (5 Dollars I'm sure o-o) Just to weed out half the population. Haha. ^_^. That's really the huge pro in making it P2P. But at the same time, apparently the people ALREADY paying for the game make up for the people going F2P. So despite the hypothetical, this wouldn't happen for a long time.
