Help me make a Yugioh Deck that isn't expensive? ;D

I am strictly playing for fun not competitively. So I saw this yugioh deck video. It looks so fun since I am constantly recycling cards. So does anyone know what I could add into my deck primarily magic and trap cards that work well but aren't expensive? I want a deck of only forty cards. My deck feels like yusei deck right now and I am trying to change that up. I want cute monsters like dandylion & quillbolt hedgehog in my deck that are useful ^_^ My current monster list, if I have to much of any one thing please tell me. x3 quillbolt hedgehogs x3 quickdraw synchro x3 junk syncro x3 level eaters x1 dandylion (use extra tokens for synchro) and it its cute x1 white potan (for cuteness and the effect) x1 hanewata (maybe, i just added it because it is cute..) No magic cards and trap that are ridiculous expensive like mirror force please.. I am broke. My plans For example summon level eater and throw it into the grave to summon quickdraw and then minus one level to resummon level eater and then synchro to a level five monster. If I synchro dandylion it goes to the grave and I get two tokens such I can also use to synchro after. Am I getting on the right track? :/ Thanks for the help.

Man I haven't played in years but theme decks can really beast. I had a star boy/aqua deck probably 7 years ago, and if you can get a few of those trout things that have 1800 w/o sacrifices you can boost their att to 3300 without any sacrifices.

Honestly dude, if you want a cheap and really badass deck, go for ojamas. Ojama OTK decks can be really deadly. You probably won't have to spend anymore than 40 bucks TOPS. One of the best ojama deck builds i've found. There's a mirror force in and I think another pricey card but you can easily swap those cards for others. Hope this helped Edit: If you don't like the Ojama idea, go for batteryman OTK, lol same strategy, but different monsters.
