Problem with starting game off of Maplestory Website.

Yeah, the title says it all. I recently came back after a hiatus, and found myself unable to play. Let me further clarify the problem. Rather than being a problem with the new-fangled Maplestory installer thing, the problem is with the fact that I can't even open the installer thing. When I go to the Maplestory homepage, I can't see the username/password area. If I click start game, it lets me log in, but I still can't see my character sprite and info. Then, after I'm "logged in," I still can't open the installer by clicking on start game. It just redirects me back to the Maplestory homepage. Any help? EDIT: I'm pretty sure it's not a problem with my internet, as it works on other computers, but not on mine.

Go into your folder and make a shortcut of the regular maplestory.exe icon. Go to target, and add "GameLaunching" to the end of the existing target name. Brings you directly to MS like the old game launcher.

The problem is, my maplestory isn't even installed anymore. I mean, is it possible to redownload from the website or something? What do you mean by adding "GameLaunching"? In the name or the properties or what? o.o It's been a while.

Also, you need to install maplestory, even for the website.

Ah I don't suppose you have any websites with good manual patchers, do you? Truth be told, aren't you supposed to be able to install from the website?

This happened to me b4. Try using a different browser for example instead of firefox, use explorer

You should be able to download the game from the website (the patcher doesn't work unless you've got the patch immediately before this one already). And the GameLauncher thing is only if you still can't play Maple from the website, GameLauncher is an application found in the Maplestory folder in your C:Drive.
