Are arans worth it?

Title pretty much says it.. Are arans worth the time spent playing? I have a lvl 52 aran at the moment and im not sure if i should continue with it.. I feel like after 3rd job all other warriors become stronger... Is that the case ? I always wanted a dk but I am already lvl 50 with the aran.. should i continue it or are they really not good for anything apart from the rings?

dude i abandoned my 44 hunter that ive been playing for 3 years for this guy, its definitely worth it. plus, we get way better skills than heros and dks. IMO at least.

"Worth it?" Really... I hate this stupid kind of thought... is a character "worth" playing? If you have fun playing with a character, then they are worth playing. THAT'S IT! What, you need all of your characters to be "the best" at something? Well, technicly, all characters are well-suited to what they do. If you enjoy playing as that character, that's all that matters! If you need a character to be "worth" something, then you're playing the wrong game, pal... heck, ANY game would be the wrong game.

arans are fun :P if you like the combos yes. and 4th job warriors don't out damage us, i'm level 100 and i can already break 100k with fenrir lol. and can hit 25-30k on average. and @above: agreed lol

After making 10+ chars to level 50 over the past 4 years of playing maple, aran was the first I ever got to level 70. Recommended.

[/quote] I didnt mean it in that way.. i enjoy playing it but i just didnt want to spend all my funds on a character that isnt good in the long run.. because thats not fun lol

I agree, if it's fun, regardless, it's 'worth' it. You might as well make a super-boring class <-of your opinion, that reaches the top few in the DPM charts <-not saying all high-DPM jobs are boring.

I don't know about you guys but getting my Aran to 41 was hell, and I haven't played it since. However, my opinion is probably invalid because I haven't even got past 41 nor have I obtained Combo Smash. Maybe I'm just butthurt over the fact that I didn't get a single Steel Pole Arm.

I have fun playing my aran. Ill stick with it. Just bought a zakum helmet :D
