hey,sorry I posted this b4 but it died and it was complicated so here is a simple version of it : Give me the present perfect passive of this sentence : They Finished.

there is no such thing as present perfect, maybe active perfect, its totally redundant and cannot happen

I think the teacher is wrong because he said the answer is : They have been finished. I mean isn't passive means removing the SUBJECT from the original sentence and replacing it with the object?the thing is there is no object here so I just assumed one so I said : The race has been finished. Idk who's right n who's wrong?
