How do I stop Maplestory lagging?

| A while back, alot of Maplers had lagg on their accounts. At that point I stopped playing for a bit. But now I want to get back into it but it is still lagging! How do I overcome this? |

| You should defrag your computer, and check if you can play maple lagless on another computer in your house. (or maybe like, borrow a friend's laptop and try maple out at your place or something, to check if it had anything to do with your internet connection) ... Or it could be your graphics card / memory. Maybe during an update, your computer couldn't handle the new content anymore? |

| Yup, try that. My hubby can play maple smoothy (well his computer is way better than mine) and my lag just started since the Evans. I'm guessing it's my graphics. You can always upgrade your graphics, they're not that expensive anymore (the decent ones anyways). |

If you have delay-lag, as in: After killing a monster it takes 1 or more second(s) to die, pots take 1 or more second(s) to use, after pressing the hotkey, it's internet related. If it's just a low frame-rate, it's computer/hardware related. |
