As my last post didn't get me clear enough answers, i figured id make a second thread, As the title suggests I am looking for the BEST way to level a unfunded Magician from 1-100+. I've seen that from 1-30 its quite easy, but as I've seen from guides on this site... it get expensive from 2nd job onwards (Such as Equipment Etc.) I'm looking for information on this from someone who has gotten an unfunded Magician from 1-100+ on Scania, or at least someone who has made an 100+ Magician. Also if you can suggest a build as well as give me some info, it will be much appreciated. Thanks.

Well ill give you help, its a EMS'er speaking here so ill not bother telling you train spots to stop flaming. On topic, I/L's level fast with early mobber, Bishops are over-rated if you ask me (too much of em) originality speaking F/P is strongest (usually) and also, if u go pizard build in 2nd job it becomes virtually the fastest grinder in the game then hybrid for 3rd but don't max ele composition cos paralyze wipes the floor with it, and also Gandelfs guide is good (its on basil so check it out) he also gives train spots, so yeah.... have fun either way

me personally never bought clothes from Stores or FM until level 75+ Of course I am reg luk so I usually wear what I find But now, for (lukless) gear you can wear the same clothes that you wear since the early levels. Also funding wise... 2nd job there is no pot cost (if you choose the CPQ path). Since CPQ you get free pots. I found everything be costly at 3rd job (lv 70+). Also if you are short on mesos you can always do quests that give you items you can sell. Or LMPQ.

well, if an ice mage finds it costly 3rd job... idk what 2 say O.o you can just tele around on the top galloperas platform , ice , and hit both top and bottom platforms. or sit on the middle platform edge and spam ice.. i would say Cleric is the least funding - about 100k mesos or so. well, just use - bathrobe and 12 int marbas hat and mushroom kingdom gloves, dont add any luck. lvl 30, use paintbrush from showa town. lvl 50 , do quest in NLC for lvl 43 lukles nocturnal staff. lvl 50-65 cpq2, lvl 65-75 do GS5(note, i claim nothing about gs5, all credits go to Ravkin), lvl 75-100 do himes with the best attacker you can find, luring with heal, MG-less. 100k mesos or so... you'll actually gain mesos, lvl 30-50 take all the spiegle coins, and then get gerpharts and npc them. at GS5, just tele down and loot now and then.

Did you make this thread to avoid my criticism from the other thread? If you did, I laugh hard in trying to avoid me since I can easily just repost and add onto it. Ot: Repost form the other thread: "How can all of you give him suggestions when he doesn't provide enough information...for 30-50+ part. The "best" way to level up depends on your funding, class, and skill build. Each of the different Magicians have a different route for what is best. Your funding and skill built will also affect the route that would be best. For lvl 30-50, I/l, Cleric, and Fp, all have different methods for CPQ which should provide the most exp for the class. At 50+, ice Wizards, lightning Wizards, Clerics, Fizards, and Pizards, are have different training methods. Depending on funding and skill build, it might be better to train than to PQ or vice versa. Unless you provide adequate information, you will get inadequate answers. All the answers provided so far, might or might not be correct. If you are looking for an open answer for all possible situations, then you aren't likely to get an adequate answer." The same fallacy with that thread is apparent in this thread. There isn't enough information being provided. You don't tell us what class you want information on. You ask for suggestion for skill build but how can someone offer a proper skill build when no one knows what class you want to be. A proper training route also can't be provided without know what class you want info on. Once again, if you are looking for an open answer, then you aren't likely going to get one. Or was this suppose to be a legit "Which Class" thread that goes through a loophole and you hope that people will provide massive amounts of information so that you can make a decision on which class to choose based on people's posts. Sighs.

Agreed at ravkin. Give us information. But TBH the most choice you are going to have in 2nd job is maxing medi or not and ice or slow. :l
gobmrcx : ...i was wondering which f'ing class out of the 3 is more easiler unfunded... so sry if i cant remember everything i was gonna ask when i type it down... and no i wasnt trying to get out of your critism, but at least make your critism understandable.. i'm not a genius lol I am a Newb(possibly a N00b) to maple as i haven't played it in around 2-3 years and even then i didn't get any higher than late-20's, so if you can give me any information about the 3 class choices and their strengths/weaknesses Etc., then it would be appreciated.. thanks... Also i prefer a Warrior-esque style to my mage (Aka Mobbing), and i don't like to eff around grinding 24/7, a PQ every now and again is nice. If any of this info is a better suggestion of which class i should be INSTEAD OF a mage, please point me towards the door to its forum.. thank you!
None of this post is presented in the Op, none. It isn't my fault you can't understand my criticism. Especially when someone is agreeing to it, which shows it is understandable. Don't try to turn this again me because of your lack of intelligence or immaturity. If you want to know more in-depth of the three classes, you should just read the stickies since they provide the most information. Regardless of what class you are, eventually the better way to train is to grind and not to Pq. Pq's at best only go up to about lvl 80, and only if you are not a Magician. Pq's stop being worth while lvl 60 and under. If you don't want to grind, then Magicians and Maplestory is not the right game for you. The easiest of all three classes is Cleric, no doubt about that.(As reluctant as I don't wish for this to be true. Can't blame me when I want I/l to be the easiest. XD) Thank you for admitting to the piece of information I needed for what I apparently figured out to be true in my prior post.

this is the kind of info i was looking for beforehand, thank you. also i apologize for making it difficult to understand what i was looking for in a magician, and i re-read through it and now i see that you were correct in your assumption about needing more information as I left a lot of information out. I am going lukless so I will be able to train more efficiently. Now, having said that, where would be a good training area for 22-30? I currently have a little more than 300, 000 mesos, and when it comes time for the age old decision of Cleric Vs I/L Vs F/P, I will decide then which one is best for my style (mobbing), and which one I will be able to afford for the higher levels.

If you notice everything is expansive in one way or form. Cheapest way to enjoy maple without worrying that is watching it on youtube.... but seriously just either test them out or find one that fits you. Money isnt really an issue unless you want to be uber pro status.

if u want mobbing , as in hitting 6 or so at a time, do NOT go f/p. even with the balance patch, the most u hit is 3-4 at a time with fire arrow, and u only get a crapy mobbing skill 70+. if you want the stronger mobber, i'd go I/L. but no offense ravkin, when it comes to holy weak monsters (mp3, gs5, voodoo/hoodoo, galloperas, himes, skeles), shining ray does almost double the damage of ice, all day long. >.> and us priests get most of the good training spots =D i have yet to see any old i/l that can hit my damage on holy weak at 109. if you have 300k, do Not go f/p. you will get owned training. it would help if you actually read some of the posts, like mine and ravkins and the other people.
