Someone just tried to remote me - this is a warning!

Alright so here's what happened: So I was on my NL browsing the FM. Everything was normal. I was talking to my friend, and he said I could join his guild if I wanted. I said, "Sure, I'll cc to your channel :D" So I cced to whatever channel he was on, and everyone greeted me to the guild and whatnot. Then, all of a sudden, my screen turned black. For a second I was puzzled. I have a very good laptop and pretty much never lag or d/c. Then I remembered some threads I'd seen on basil last night, about a certain black screen after changing channels and then getting your account stripped. Without hesitation, I pushed the power button and my laptop turned off. (This part with the black screen all happened in a half second to a second.) As I waited for my computer to boot up I kind of laughed at myself. 'I wayyyy overreacted!' I thought. Lol. When I logged back in, I smiled at myself when I saw my account totally fine! So my new guildies welcomed me back. "ummm... Welcome again?" they said. I laughed and said "I must have just d/ced." I was still in the same fm room. Then I got a trade request from someone I didn't know. I know this was stupid, but I accepted, thinking maybe he was just someone who was asking for a few mesos. I entered the chat room and he said "hi." I said, "um, hi 0.o" he then said, "I like your eyes." I replied," um thanks lol" after a second he didn't respond so I just exited the trade. 'what a creeper,' i thought to myself. Then my screen went black again. This time I realized that that guy was trying to remote me! I did the same thing and pressed the emergency shut down button. This time I was totally freaked out about my account, so I logged in as far as the character selection screen to make sure I was safe. I had escaped again. I haven't tried logging in again. Why I KNOW that this was remote hacking attempt: it's too much of a coincidence that my screen went black RIGHT after I cced/exited a trade Seriously, who trades you randomly and then says nothing and waits for you to exit the trade? I was not lagging even the split second before I got the black screen, which means I couldn't have d/ced That guy was in the fm room with me the whole time Why I think the attempt failed: 2 options: either me using the emergency shut down button stopped it, or he was testing/trying to perfect or use new methods and they happened to not work(would explain why he used the trade and the cc) Unfortunately I don't remember the guys ign, but here's a description he was a warrior he was in mardia he had nx he appeared to be lvl 50+ by his equips he had black hair I belive his ign had "drk" or "night" in it somehwere and also had some xs in the name The purpose of this thread? I want to warn you! PLEASE, if this happens to you, PRESS THE SHUT DOWN BUTTON IMMEDIATELY. I don't want this to happen to anyone else Please believe me guys... Those of you who know me know that I would never just make something like this up, I'm honestly just trying to help.

If you cc'd and came out on the other side and got the invite, it wasnt an attempt You would have attempted to cc, and then you would've never gotten to the other channel

No, when I was ccing I got the black screen. Then when I logged back in I went back to the channel I was originally in and got the trade invite

Yes, the black screen happened a second or two after I cced. I know when people usually think of remote, they think it happens DURING the cc, but this could be different. Please just take the warning

That could have been a normal dc lol Random noobs trade you all the time becuase you're a high level And you cant remote someone through a trade, there's no transfer of your character between servers If you dont cc, you have nothing to worry about, if you're that scared, just log out and log back in to the channel you want to go to in order to cc
