Do shadowers do low damage compared to other classes?

Do they? I have watched several videos of shadowers doing boomerang step and a single damage from boomerang step is not that high. Even with the secnd set of hits that comes rapidly after the first one, many skills from other jobs I see can hit more during that amount of time with the delay such as hero's brandish, dragon fury, marksman's pierce, all the mages lol, corsair's ship. what do you think about this? last post on this kind of stuff, I promise :D

there a lot more to it than just having a high single hit if i remember correctly shads are somewhere in the middle plus with taunt it makes them the 2nd or 3rd fastest trainers

We do not hit very hard. But we are indeed one of the fastest training classes, thanks to our speed and skills.

with my experiences with a cb, they either do lower damage faster, or high damage slower lol. using sb they do low numbers quite fastly, with ME they do high numbers but a bit slower. It all balances out in the end though.

BoT, SB, Assulter..

Well of course they're weak! Why would someone play a computer game for fun in the first place? That's what i'm wondering MapleStory is pretty serious business MW2 gun for shads IMO = AA12. One hit isn't exactly the strongest, but a bunch of those hits add up, especially since the AA12 fires quickly. Also, if there's a large group of enemies, the AA12 can deal a lot of damage, as compared to a SPAS 12 where you might die due to the need to pump.

lol which gun? i have no idea XD but i have to say when you do boomerang step remember it hits up to 4 monsters so its those 2 hits per monster shadowers are one of the weaker classes but still are very fun to play

Indeed shadowers have low dps. But they have other advantages should the player find them useful.

Yes, in fact we do hit fairly low. But with that low hitting comes a great price, we never hardly ever rarely get hit. While other classes have to pot constantly during bosses, when we use B step, it makes us vulnerable for quite a bit of time, and we have huge avoid and Shadow Shifter. We have another skill called Assassinate, a very powerful skill when charged up, but w.o it being charged, it still does decent damage. We have so many attacks to use, that's the fun thing. =]

And for the high damage low fire rate, low damage high fire rate thing, all class, I think do that or they'll be overpowered. But to what degree? like snipers are strong but snipe is only one hit. But assassinate is a bit faster but with a little lower damage. Like, snipers in mw2 are strong but one hit with the lowest RoF. Do you think akimbo shotguns or akimbo pistols fit them better? Finally, do you guys think I should use a gun or a tactical knife? Which one is more similar to the shadower's skills? O and should I use throwing knife or c4? ty, lol I have to fit all my questions into one post since I'm a new member and can only post a limited amount of posts :P
