What do you guys miss about how things used to be? What are you glad to have now? What do you think sucks more than it used to? I quit in mid-2007 and came back last month. When I quit, I was stuck doing 9% an hour on death teddies in Ludi. So much easier now-- I've already leveled 15 times since I came back and saw big-ass billboards in every town, tons of new maps, crazy classes + CKs... --- I know there are other nostalgia threads, but I've been reminiscing with one in-game friend about days when... ...everyone was running around with Mark of Beta bandanas ...the taxi haystacks in Henesys were the place to troll and summon on people ...Windia and Khaini were hella new ...servers had 20 channels ...KPQ was freaking insane, and autoclickers got you rushing ...Ludi PQ was the place to be after that, and you learned to spam 133 221 333 123 111 at stage 6... ...by the time you hit 3rd job at 70, that was already remarkably pro ...Zakum was brand new, and hellaciously tough to beat ...if you were legit, you leveled out of sheer stubbornness against the grind, none of this 2x business Any takers? :P

haha yeah i loved the autoclickers, made the game more intense. but now i tend to not actually enjoy the game. its more of. i have to level, i doubt very highly that most players actually enjoy playing this game, and they actually play for the fact that they feel the need to level. but thats just my opinion

Which sucks. I always played for my friends (and I still do). --- also, remember? ...HUGE parties at zombies! the spawn was insane, the KS wars went DOWN. ...Jr. Balrog was THE boss to kill, you were officially on the verge of being pro if you could solo rog ...if you could c.rog, you were pro hands down (and crazy).

nothing, things have improved and will improve since then. Nexon made lvling much easier, zhelm prices skyrocketted down, they used to be 500mil b4 4th job was out. Dropped to 50mil afterwards. Now around 20mish since theres soK.

I loved that when I started there were no definite skill builds and no definite prices so people would have such messed up stats all the time. My first character was a warrior with 25 luck because I thought it would boost my drop rate. Lol.

I loved these threads..until i realised they come up again every single week. Give it a break. Im not hating on you, TS, i just feel like commenting how annoying it is to see the same "remember how maple used to be?" thread. Honestly, im sorry. I cant, myself, think of a reason why im getting so agitated over somehting that usually, i wouldnt care about. Maybe deep down i miss the "old maple" and dont want it being brought up so often. Sigh.
