About a LUKLESS MAGE

this is my first time making a mage and LUKLESS. I have questions about what staff/wand to equip. I'm currently lvl. 16 with the Beginner's wand Grendel the Really Old gives me after I make advancement. Do I equip this until I get to lvl.30 for a poison mushroom or paint brush? ty guys :] wat overall should I get? 10 dex or just no dex? i can't afford luk or int robes.

pretty much stick with the wand, then get the maple staff at 35, and the llama staff at 43, then whatever comes after. it's purdy easy. just get a marbas mask, and 100% a pair of earings, and get some cheap bathrobe or a sauna...

or, you can get a zak wand But you really shouldn't be going lukless if you can't afford it I can't judge by your picture because most lukless (funded or not) look like that at level 16

And how come he shouldn't go lukless if he can't afford it? He can use paint brush -temp- till he gets to 43 and get a Noc/Lama staff.

Lukless is not about funding. A noob wand will still do good damage compared to a similarly funded luk person

highly recommend getting a green paintbrush at lv30 the maple staff isn't that great but would help if you had one save up for a nocturnal or llama staff at 43 and get a marbas mask, 12 int comes a long way

Depends if your being an Evan or not Mage = Beginner Wand>Green Paintbrush>Noctural Staff(optional)>Maple Wisdom Staff Evan = Beginner Want>Maple Staff>Nocturnal Staff(optional)>Maple Wisdom Staff

I'm lukless so I only have 4 luk. and to the others: I hear that lukless is cheaper than regular luk since they don't need anything. I just started fresh and new in a new world (Broa) but I still got some nice funding.. (around 2mil) so yeah.
