Human Paladin or Warrior?

Recently joined WoW, and I'm having trouble choosing between classes. I want to be a class that has great attacking skills with either a sword or polearm I was recommended a paladin because of the solo capabilities, but I've been told by someoen that basicly 70+ becomes everyone's... maid. Even so, I want to be very strong, though, I don't think paladins have much of a varity of attacking skills. I'm currently level 10 at the moment. Is there a guide somewhere or can someone link me a few videos on both classes? I really don't know if warrior would be best for me seeing how I'm both recommended the 2 classes by 2 different people. This is what I know so far Paladin -solo capability because of healing abilities -additional holy damage Warrior -few attacking skills at the start (?)

pallidins- well what can i say 3 types you can get: Tank-protection spec Basicly their job is to keep the monsters on them and not alow them to move to other mobs not to much damage done but are well sought after later on. Damage-Retribution (AKA i can hit my head on the keyboard and still do 5k dps) Rediculusly over powered in pve and pvp. There are loads of them around atm. P.S. in the next expasion hitting your head on the keyboard wont be doing high dps Healer-Holy Job basicly says it. thats for paladins ill explain warriors in a sec

Are Warriors better DPS wise and making big numbers? Paladins = can tank and heal Warriors = can tank and do good damage?

[/quote] damage wise paladins>warriors due to the fact that its easier to do high damage without any real skill as a palidin and yes warriors can tank and if you can do high damage on a warrior in higher levels you will be respected for it more than paladins. due to the fact that they have a more complicate roation

With my paladin it seems like I'm just auto attacking and waiting for judgement to cool down... Is warriors like this too? What class is better off for warrior? Dark elf or human? Is there anyway I can transfer my "earned" equips/money over to my warrior if I do happen to make one?

[/quote] im sorry i keep talking about level 70+ at the start warriors do have a slightly better move pool and can level faster since they only need to worry about health and not need to regen manato use moves

So far, that I know, pallys have Judgement. Do warriors have more than 1 skill like judgement? I want to have higher damage than the other. If I were to make a warrior, what would be better? human or dark elf?

Do not choose Human Paladin, that's the most populated race+class combo on the alliance side... Heck don't even choose human Warrior caus there's too many humans. be a Female dwarf warrior. You'll probably be the only one on your server lol. (However, if you do end up choosing Paladin, feel free to pm me I had a 5k gearscore Holy paladin and can give you advice.)

raid dps: warriors>pally assuming you know the rotation which is pretty easy from what ive seen which you can probabilty find out in wowwiki pallys can heal and do decent dps and tank but in terms of raid tanking and raid dps warriors>pallys but pvp, its all up to who knows their stuff and what builds/teammates youre vsing against
