i was wondering how people change color of their items like work gloves to yellow, brown, etc. thanks! :D

You have to get a certain color paint, which is located deep in Leafre. I believe you can buy the paint in the "Cave of Life".

I'm afraid that in MapleStory you can't buy vials of dye Guild Wars-wise to colour your equips. Coloured Work Gloves come from Gachapon, as elidrissii said, and come with different stats than the white Work Gloves. Brown Work Gloves for example have more slots than white ones and Red Work Gloves come with a little STR.
