you eat chicken? I'm kind of finding it hard to believe that this person I talked to is apparently a vegetarian, but she eats chicken because her parents won't let her give it up. Kind of stupid if you ask me...

Well, depends how the person defines his goal of being a vegetarian. If she's a vegetarian for ethical reasons, then she obviously isn't one if she continues to eat chicken. Since Chickens are one of the typical mass-slaughter victims. If she however does it for health reasons, it could be understandable, since it is assumed that white meat isn't as fattening as red meat. But

Vegetarian is to not eat anything that was alive and had blood in its organism. The freakin "so-called-vegetarians" that eat chicken/seafood are nothing but a huge FAIL.

obviously not vegetarians don't eat meat or fish, I am one so I would know people love to also confuse us with vegans, who also don't eat eggs, milk, cheese or anything coming from animals
