Do you stil enjoy maple as much ?

Hey guys this is my first thread so don't hate =] Well, i started playing Maple Story about a year and a half ago. I started playing because my girlfriend knew I loved to play video games and was looking for a game where the both of us could play together and talk alot at the same time. A friend of hers said to her that Maple Story was fun and that it was very kick back. So we started to play together in Kradia. I being the gamer I am, wanted a head start on what class I wanted to pick. After sevreal minutes looking on the Nexon website i found the warrior class 'Paladin'. Having played World of Warcraft previously with Draenei Paladin being my favourite class I immediately knew i wanted to be a Paladin. So when we started I chose to be a warrior. =] The level of fun I had when i started this game was alot more then i expected. The pure thrill that i got from a 2d scroller game amazed me at first. But i think it was more linked to the fact that I was playing a game that me and the love of my life both enjoyed equally =] But after awhile, we ending up changing to the Broa server to play with her friend that reccomended the game. After that things got nasty but still i did'nt let that phase me. I stil enjoy to play even thoe my girlfriend quit, I stil fund her character like i did when we first started playing. But know instead of giving her 30k mesos (which was all i had when i started :D) to several hundred million. Do you have a similiar story? If so let everyone on basil know =] Even if you don't I'd like to know if you still enjoy maple as much as you did when you started.

maple was way more fun back then. it just recently started getting boring over the past year. everyone seems to be power hungry. and if you try and make a new character, kpq is horrible exp, and everyone there is stupid. cpq and cpq2 is full of dummies too. idk what happened to maple and how all these idiots started playing or where they came from D: also, i agree with the first post about lvling.

With maple being more of an pay-to-play game now and other content going downhill, no not really. Maple is good game, but good game also needs good publisher, Nexon is not. Go back to 2007 and you know what I mean.

It's still fun to me, I'm not extremely rich, but I enjoy training, quite honestly I just love playing as my Aran, no matter what I'm doing, leveling or messing around in Dojo, I still enjoy the game. And I'm looking forward to my first zak run sometime in the near future. 19 levels to go (:

I enjoyed it back that. My friend introduced me to Maplestory when she was around level 30, so I caught up pretty quickly (though it took WAY longer to level to 30 back then, or maybe it was just me. 2months, I think). Then I remember when LPQ was all the rage, and we used to try to LPQ together, and everyone had auto-clickers and you'd be really happy to get in, thinking how pro you were to beat an auto-clicker. ;D And then after that was LMPQ, that was pretty fun too. And then it just went downhill after they introduced CPQ and stuff. D: No one every does the /fun/ PQs anymore. Or is that just me? XD. But I still enjoy it. I love my friends. <3 I even met two-three of them irl. Even though I met them on a /different/ online game and we both started playing MS . o.o''

nexon is seeing that everyone is hating on maple and thats why they're doing the x2 card event if you get to level 3 on some of their other games.

When there are events or new quests for me to do or something. Otherwise, it's pretty bland now. Especially with the amount of training you have to do to gain levels and therefore progress, once you reach a certain "stage" in your character's development.
