| So, it all started about a year ago. When I was obsessed with getting all the achievements in "Dead Rising" "Call of Duty 4" and "Halo 3" for the Xbox 360. And I eventually got all of them, but that's a different story, anyway, me and my best friend Jeff (Maple IGN = KillerKupo) were talking about games, and then he convinced me to try a MMO called MapleStory, as all of you probably know of. I had never played an MMO before, I was a console gamer back then. So I tried it out, and then, I instantly liked it. So after about a week of being on the first island, I finally reached level 10. I was so happy, not to mention I was bragging to my friend Jeff about it constantly. He just laughed and told me that I had a long way to go, and he was right. So, then it was time to pick my first job. I really could not decide for a few days, because I kept thinking "What if I change my mind" "What if ect ect ect" So, I decided to become a thief. Mostly because I liked the name. "Thief" just kinda sounded bad ass to me. Anyway, I became a thief, now I had to pick a weapon. It was an easy choice for me, I wanted to have a ranged class from the start so of course I picked claws. And right off the bat, I thought, "Why do you use claws to throw, throwing stars?" and to this day, I still don't understand it. But whatever. My friend Jeff started a new player with me, and became level 20 right off the bat. I thought he was pro as hell, and once again, to this day, I think he is the best and smartest Mapler in MapleStory. Funding was always a big issue for me. I was living off of pots that dropped from snails and whatnot. I died so often it was hard to level up. But eventually, after about 2 or 3 weeks, I got to level 30. All I felt was relief. So, now I had to do the advancement. By far the hardest thing I've done in Maple. Ever. I had no pots of any kind. No stars. And little hp. After 2 hours I had done it. Got the 20 black ball thingys, and got to the top of the map to talk to the guy again. Right after that, I thought I was so awesome. I thought I was the best but, clearly I wasn't. And then I proceeded to hene-ho for a long time, about a month or so to be exact. And in that month I actually met alot of friends who I am still friends with today, and a few I have met in real life, and we are really great friends. Then I decided that, I was going to go level for once. So I did, in fact, the fastest I had ever leveled. I went from level 30 - 40 in about 2 or 3 days, and then from there it was nothing but up. Around level 60ish, Cygnus Knights came out and ruined my training spots. So after about another month, I hit level 70. Luckily, I had my friends had gave me 20 mil for a mount and 1 mil the crystal (they were pretty cheap back then xP). And the whole advancement took about, roughly an hour. But, it was really worth it. A few weeks after I hit level 80, Arans came out. I decided to quit my Hermit, and make an Aran. After about a week, I get banned. Why? My Arans na |
