stonetooth sword or devil's sunrise

I'm a lvl 88 crusader and I have 90 base dex. I was wondering if I should save up for the stonetooth sword or get devil's sunrise. I am not funded, I'm pretty poor.

stonetooth sword costs an awful amount you should upgrade your other equips first

I think you should get a devil's sunrise because Stonetooths cost like 300m+ CLEAN but a Devil's Sunrise only costs about 2-3m. I scrolled my Devil's Sunrise to 114 atk/11 str. It wasn't that bad but all (3) 60%'s failed. I used it til i ended my Dawn Warrior.

an unfunded sader shouldn't be spending that much on a stonetooth sword. the money could be better spent elsewhere for the time being

sunrise > stonetooth Stonetooth is never worth putting that extra dex into it for a mediocre weapon with fast 5 speed unless its 14x stonetooth which is hard to pull off and hard to go dexless. I advise sunrise till you can get a decent shield 18 att + and a decent 13x + att fast 5 / 11x ish katana gl

At that point a Scar +MoN almost brings you to the required dex. More on topic. There are better ways to spend 300 mil (My 116 att DS was only ~50 mil for instance) than on a so-so ST. So get a DS for now and if you ever feel rich enough get an awesome ST and show off your badass weapon.

if youre poor you cant get ST simlpe as that its not even an option to begin with, so you'll have to just get DS anyways im not sure what to scroll it with i guess you could try 30%'s but it might blow up and youll need to get a new one.

You could probably get a lower 11x ST for around 7-15k NX on MTS, right?

[/quote] Adding on to what you said my Wife once saw a clean Stonetooth in FM for only 5 Mil. It was slightly below average but still. Wish I had known how low it was at the time. So you can find any item if your lucky enough.

If you can buy a Stonetooth, it's speed gives you a massive advantage in terms of Damage Per Minute (DPM) against the Devil's Sunrise. Basicly, it's a 2-handed sword with the speed of a 1-handed sword. It makes for a very good end-game option. If you cannot afford a Stonetooth Sword right away, get a decent Devil's Sunrise and use that until you have the mesos to afford a Stonetooth later.
