| It's obvious MapleStory copies a lotta things from Pop culture, Anime, Mythologies and etc. Personally I think it's really creative of them to incorporate things like that into the game. Let's list all the things and from where MapleStory copied them ps. I didn't come up with any of them. I read them off different sites. Please don't bother commenting if only thing you're going to do is flame. I'll start 1. New female Bow Hair (one I have atm) is a copy of Lady Gaga's hair bow 2. Stonetooth sword is a copy of Renji Abarai's Zabimaru from Bleach. 3. Zakum comes from the name "Zaqqum" which is a tree that Muslims believe grows in Hell 4. Eos Tower and Helios Tower comes from the greek Goddess "Eos - dawn" and God "Helios - sun". Ludibrium is held up in the sky by these two towers. ;] 5. Speculations that Pink Bean might represent the Satan. Like the Satan it has horns in its head. Skin color is pink which is close to red, Satan's skin. Satan is believed to look beautiful on the outside and Pink Bean also happens to be one of the cutest monster in the game. 6. Galicia is an autonomous community and historic region in northwest Spain. Scania is the southernmost of the 25 traditional non-administrative provinces of Sweden. Bera is a town and municipality near Navarre, northern Spain as well a district and town in Malaysia. Broa is a type of cornbread traditionally made in Portugal and Galicia. 7. Meso Rangers are a copy of Power Rangers 8. Naruto and Full Metal Alchemist cloths in Cash Shop 9. Both Bleach character Rukia and Renjis hairstyle found in Kerning and NLC. Designer hairstyle is actually from K-ON, the anime. (character: Yui Hirasawa) 10. Ludibrium is a word derived from Latin ludus meaning a plaything or a trivial game. Funny how Ludibrium is the land of toys in MapleStory 11. New class Evan is a copy from the famous series Inheritance Cycle (Eragon, Eldest, Brisingr) by Christopher Paolini 12. Grendel the really old is a copy of Merlin who is a legendary figure best known as the wizard featured in the Arthurian legend 13. Leviathan is a sea monster referred to in the Tanakh and the Bible. 14. Horntail Dragon. Though it resembles the greek serpent creature Hydra, it may also be a copy of the Lithunian Dragon Drakonas which is believed to have multiple heads. 15. NLC seems like a MapleStory version of Las Vegas with the Eifel tower and Sphinx 16.
