im going to make a reverse lampion, do i have to use a stimulator? whats stimulator for? o.o

A stimulator increases the items stats and makes it better but it has a 10% chance of the whole maker creation thingy to fail (You loose everything and you dont get a lampion)

Stimulators are optional. You can make it even without a stimulator. What stimulator does is just randomly plays with the stats. It's similiar to chaos scroll. It also has a possibility of ruining your product. You can still try using the stimulator. Who knows, you might get lucky. :P

I thought stimulators guaranteed your item to be clean and possibly over average with a 10% chance of blowing up the object And to TS yeah the advanced diamond would still work, but there's a possibility that the item will only be average ( 3 underaverage + 3 from advanced diamond)

Yes it will. Stim does NOT act like a chaos scroll. It just doesnt make your weapon go under average. You can get above average weapons even without the use of a stim. What act like a chaos?: Black and Dark Crystals.

I'd say to use a stimulator, it'll help you a lot, it MAY blow up your weapon but this is unlikely and you can use items that increase your "Hands" to decrease the chances of it failing. WHATEVER YOU DO, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE MAKER 3 WHEN YOU MAKE IT, ALL 3 GEM SLOTS ARE VITAL, THIS MAY VERY WELL BE YOUR END GAME WEAPON, SO MAKE IT AS GODLY AS POSSIBLE.

Makes it average/above average. It can't get below average. The 10% fail rate might make you reconsider though...

I think it makes the weapon have +5 attack or -5 attack. and a 10% chance of destroying it, or something. EDIT: Nevermind, it just makes your weapon better, not worse.
